Purdy Purdy Pictures!

Here are some pictures of things. There aren't any pictures of people here because whenever I take pictures of people, it looks like they're about to get run over. Instead enjoy these pictures of the sun, the sky and the occassional tangible object.

This is the view from my window in the morning. Be jealous. Another unsubstantiated sighting of the sun. The nighttime mode on my camera takes pictures slowly. Resulting in bright and blurry pictures like this. Perhaps I am making some kind of profound point with this picture. Then again, perhaps not. Sky behind a school somewhere. Trees make interesting shadow on the back of my house. Also featured in this picture is my cat, and a bonsai tree that I never water. Freaky Bowser Clouds brr! shepherd's delight It's snowing! That car looks like it's going backwards, but it's not. Whole Lotta Sky This is the view from my window in the morning. Be jealous. (Reprise) Raaaarrrggh!!!! Even Balliol's Snell Bridge, AKA the Ghetto, looks nice when it's sunny. More snowy pictures. Look out for two guys gritting the paths. Spoilsports. Mmmmmm. Boiling. What I consider to be a pretty sweet sunset All I need by Air is a choon Hyper-Moles! Slow exposure rocks Good morning Good morning Yeah, so this is very similar to that picture a bit further up, being a picture of the same thing taken at about the same time. I still think it's worth putting in. Moya One of those sneaky ones where the big picture is actually quite different to the thumbnail Exams are over!! It is summer!!! This is largely what summer's about So, I didn't get tickets for live8, but they DID show it on a big screen in nearby Alderley Edge. This is what the place looked like at midday. Not particularly spectacular. But... THIS is the same field six hours later. Hell de yeah. There were over 4000 people there, which is almost as much as Manchester had. Well, two thirds. Which is still pretty impressive if you ask me. I need to find somewhere else to put these bits of writing. I have a confession to make. See, this sky didn't really look like this, very much. It was much bluer and more normal-looking. But I have this mode on my camera for taking pictures into the sun, and whenever I use it it makes everything seem much yellower. Which makes it 150% cooler most of the time, but sometimes is kinda annoying when something doesn't look the way it looked when I decided to take a picture of it in the first place. But anyway, if you're wondering why you don't get so many golden sunsets round your area, it's beacuse I cheat. Sleeping on the roof - the Flaming Lips (disclaimer: this picture was not in fact taken while on or near a roof) So, last week I totally got abducted by space aliens. But unfortunately they didn't allow flash photography on the ship so this was the only picture I got. Telephone pole vs the Sun

And, because the first thing people said when they looked at this website was 'Why aren't there any pictures of me in it?' I hereby present to you a picture of Mark H:

See what I mean about getting run over?

This is Mark. He studies Geology and Geography at Manchester University and wishes it to be known that Rage Against the Machine rock.

And this is George:

We force George to listen to What You Waiting For for the fourth time that evening

George is lead guitarist for that most coolest of bands, Delphi Oracle. He studies Popular Music at Liverpool. Would probably like me to mention at this point that Rush are the best band in the universe ever. But he's wrong.
